relationships are exciting :) when you first meet somebody that makes you feel all giddy and nervous, life becomes all rainbows and sunshine. the first few dates that start off the relationship are the most exciting part.  when you still arent sure of how they kiss and they still give you butterflies in your stomach, its all so awesome for the both of you. every touch, even just between hands, sends a SHOCK down your spine and you feel as though youre practically cookies and milk; just meant for each other.

to others, this is just gross. whenever i see a mushy gushy, oooy-gooy first-few-dates couple that cant keep their hands off each other, or feed eachother from their own plate, i just get a sick feeling inside my stomach. now, i understand that, if i were in the situation, i probably would do the same thing. though i dont like PDA (public display of affection). for example, there are a huge amount of couples at our school of Park Street, particularly in the hallway where my locker is located. they just happen to be the gross, disgusting couples that are all over each other. like, do you not even care about the 50 other people around you right now who have to see that. i understand that we dont HAVE to look at you, but its just annoying having you sucking face right beside me. i have a particular problem right by my locker, where the couple will be pressed up against MY locker, not theirs, MINE, just making out and not really caring that id like them to move over so i can take out my books for the next class. i mean really... i dont want to be the proverbial

"Third Wheel"

Yes, you are a cute couple, who like each other very very much and "dont care what other people think". I get it. but really...?

Relationships

even though i really havent experienced much, i know a lot more than a normal 18 year old should know about love and relationships. There are stages of each relationship that most on lookers see and which the particular couple completely deny.

in the next few posts i'll try my best to explain each stage of a relationship and how it effects not only the couple in the middle of it but also the other people surrounding the couples including; other couples, friends and what we're going to call "haters".

this is going to be a fast post, and it doesnt have anything to do with the theme of my blog. i just really need everyone to be aware of this issue...

People need to get into their heads that they are being brainwashed by the media and (excuse my language) the shit that is leaked onto the television and radio.

JUSTIN BEIBER IS STUPID.

He is a 16 year old who will lose all his fame when he finally hits puberty. He is just like the Jonas Brothers and Zanessa... they all go 'out of style' sooner or later. He has become a corporation that is turning hundreds of thousands of pre teens girls into Beiber Zombies.

so heres a post to all those guys who really need to get a life ;)

i personally cant stand when guys are jerks. they can reel you in to the point of no return and you just cant get out of their tightly knit web.

boys think they are smart, when they 'turn on the charm' and lead an innocent girl on like crazy. she will fall in love at the witty remarks, light comedy and cute little names that a boy makes for her. she will go and tell all her friends how great he is and how much she wants to be with him because he is so different from the rest, but really she has no idea whats going to happen next.

i, personally, have been in very similar situations as this, when i am only the age of 18. guys start their little deceptions at a young age and its frightening.

also, guys think, because of what the media tells them, they are allowed to treat girls however they want. There are songs out there by artists like Enrique Iglasias and Pitbull, in mainstream music, where the theme of the song is about a girl with whom they would like to have... coitus (for lack of a better form of the term). . . (you can figure out what it means later)

then there are other times where girls see things in the media which can be taken as positive. like hopeless romantic men or guys who write songs like Bruno Mars. girls think 'i want a guy that is romantic because he will love me forever'. thats not exactly how it works. there arent any real Ted Mosby's out there. (god, i wish there were...).

now i feel kind of bad for picking on just the guys, when girls can be extremely rude aswell. they can be extremely nice to a guy, just to be nice to him. he ends up falling for her when she has no idea he even likes her. I mean, girls are a little nicer about it and they sometimes never know when its happening.

there are also times where, it doesnt matter male or female, we lead someone on, break their heart and then come right back when we feel we need their company and an ego boost again. its most horrible when that person falls for it a second time. "fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me." but really, the person doing the fooling is just being a complete ass!

So we know that everyone can sometimes be a jerk when they either dont mean to or when they really want to. there is a great episode of my favourite tv show "How I Met Your Mother" where Ted (josh radnor) is being strung along by his current fling named Tiffany (carrie underwood). this is a term the group likes to call "the hook" . it turns out that Ted is guilty of 'hooking' another individual named Henrietta. but it doesnt stop there. Tiffany is on some other guys hook, and there is a poor guy out there on Henrietta's hook. It shows that one-sided love is just a viscious circle and people can be incredibly self-centered when it comes who they love and who loves them.

to finish off, there is a particular song that i enjoy called 'jar of hearts' by christina perri.

since i was young, maybe starting in grade 7, i was told

"there are plenty fish in the sea"

and really, this is true.

When a couple of people end a relationship that maybe lasted a while and was pretty serious, especially at the teen ages, either one party or both feel the world has come to an end.

it hasnt.

with an approximate total of 6 billion on this planet
1 person is not worth it.

i love the word love . it is one of the most   b e a u t i f u l  words in the english language.

l'amour   .    amor   .    الحب    .     mahal   .     ความรัก

(there is love in some other languages)

i wish that people wouldnt play around with it so much.
i wish people would use it properly.
i wish it was a more respected word.

because this is an extremely powerful word, i feel it can be used before people really know wether or not they feel it, resulting in a possible termination of a relationship.
